Qatar’s slot in the calendar changes as the MotoGP Qatar Grand Prix is postponed to November

The Idemitsu Moto4 Asia Cup is already in full swing for 2026, with the milestone six-round season across Asia already underway. An updated calendar has been confirmed following the postponemet of the MotoGP Grand Prix of Qatar, with Lusail International Circuit now set to host the Moto4 Asia Cup season finale in November.

The Moto4 Asia Cup season got underway in Thailand at the end of February (27th February-1st March) and the competition will be back in action alongside the Malaysian Superbike paddock (31st July-2nd August) for Round 2 before a busy end to the season.

In October, the riders once again race in the MotoGP paddock in Japan (2nd-4th October), Indonesia  (9th-11th October) and in Malaysia (30th October-1st November) before the new date for the finale in Qatar. Lusail International Circuit will host the Moto4 Asia field from the 6th to the 8th of November, again alongside MotoGP.
