83 riders from 17 countries get ready to take on the Selection Event at Sepang International Kart Circuit in October
After another incredible applications campaign for the Idemitsu Moto4 Asia Cup, the shortlist of prospective riders who are invited to the 2027 Selection Event in October is now out.
83 young competitors from 17 different countries – including four female riders – are invited to the two-day event at Sepang International Kart Circuit, which will take place on the 27th and 28th of October 2026.
At the event, our panel of experts will assess the riders on- and off-track, with the most promising young hopefuls then offered a place on the 2027 M4A grid. A number of candidates will also be named as reserve riders.
